Actually, the fact that your candy bar has added wax makes it great for truffles. When you use regular cooking chocolate, it's often recommended that you add shortening or even paraffin (ewwww) to make it more stable. Yours has that already in. Just make sure you do it in a double boiler, as described in another answer, and melt it very slowly. You don't want to COOK your chocolate.

Melt in a double boiler over low heat. The water in the bottom pan should not touch the top pan.It will burn your choc. and don't let a drop of water get into your chocolate or it will seize up.

Get a bar of your favourite chocolate and melt in a bowl over a pan of hot water. Get you favourite ice cream and with a scoop or spoon make the best shape balls you can. Put on a plate and gently pour the melted chocolate over them. The chocolate with harden almost immediately. Put in a freezer and serve as you need. Not quite what you asked for but you will get about 3x as much for $ 4.00

How can it be "hot" chocolate if it's frozen?

Well you could try making a hot chocolate popsicle.

I want to fill the large perc. coffee pot with boiling water and serve the dry hot chocolate mix (Swiss Miss is very good) on the side, do not forget the mini marshmallows. Let people who do not own drinks and add what they want.

I'd go for an instant powder mix you just add hot water. You need a can of 2 kg of a food wholesaler.
